Suhavna is an actuary by background and a passionate problem solver by heart, using her curiousity ​and diverse experience to find optimal solutions to pressing problems.

She has over 15 years of experience working in various traditional corporate actuarial roles at large ​life and healthcare insurers, where her passion for design thinking led her to specialise in product ​design, product management and pricing of insurance products in various Global South regions. She ​has additionally worked as an actuarial expert, providing calculations and reports needed for legal ​proceedings. This diverse and high-quality experience equips her to tackle problems effectively, ​considering all factors and stakeholders.

Most recently, Suhavna took her wealth of actuarial expertise in financing and delivering care and ​protection to Percept Actuaries and Consultants, a transdisciplinary collaborative focused on solving ​complex social impact problems. During her tenure, she spearheaded various projects, including ​Human Resources for Health projections, hospital analytics endeavours, and research within the ​medico-legal domain.

Summit's sunrise emerged during the end of Suhavna's tenure at Percept, after news of the ​collaborative's sunset. Percept's values of collaboration, curiousity, inclusivity and right effort are ​therefore encoded in Summit's core. Summit continues to maintain deep connections and ​partnerships with former Percept colleagues.
